The 4th man

This guy came with the crew for the 6pdr I put up a couple of posts back. He doesn't look right for an anti-tank gun crew but more for leading an infantry platoon especially since he is wearing a helmet instead of a cap.

He is an odd looking figure and certainly not one of my better pieces. Does the quality of the figure improve the quality of the paint job?
